RRB Thiruvananthapuram Junior Engineers Result


Railway Recruitment Board Thiruvananthapuram declared written examination results for the recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer in various departments. The candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned below are provisionally short listed for being called for the mandatory Candidature & Document Verification, subject to the correctness of the information furnished in their application form.

RRB Bangalore Jr. Stenographer (English, Hindi) Stenography Test Result


Railway Recruitment Board Bangalore Declared Stenography Test Results for the recruitment to the post of Junior Stenographer (English, Hindi).  The written examination for the post of Junior Stenographer was held on 22 April 2012. Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) invited applications for filling up 7 Posts.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for the four posts on the date of application is given below:
For Deputy General Manager (AFC) – 40 years
For Estate Officer – 38 years
For Shunting Drivers – 58 years
For Train Operator / Instructor – 45 years

Educational Qualification / Experience:
For Deputy General Manager (AFC):
B.E/B.Tech in Electronics / Electronics Communication / Computer Science or MCA with minimum 10 years of experience .
Fluency in English and good presentation skills are must.

For Estate Officer: B.E in Civil Engineering with minimum 7 years experience.
Knowledge in CAD will be an added advantage. Knowledge on assessment and practices of standards and ability to evaluate urban properties and basic knowledge on law and rules related to maintenance of buildings, is required.

For Shunting Drivers: ITI Trade Certificate from a recognised institution with minimum 10 years experience in driving diesel shunting locomotive / Main line Diesel locomotive in Indian Railway.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing a 3 year Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Communication & related disciplines.
Duration of Post: For 3 years on contract, extendable if required.

For Train Operator / Instructor: Matriculation + three years diploma in Electrical Engineering /Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Power Systems / Industrial Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a Government recognised University / Institute with minimum 10 years experience in driving EMU / Electrical Locomotive in Indian Railways or 3 years driving experience in Metro Trains operation. Candidates who have worked as Loco Inspectors/Instructors would be preferred.

Selection Process:

Final selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Interview.

In order to regulate / short list the no. of candidates to be called for the interview, if required, the Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria, or to relax the minimum eligibility standards / criteria depending upon the response to the advertised posts. Only short-listed candidates will be notified for interview.

For validity of sports achievement, concluding day of the championship/event shall be taken into account.

Selection Procedure : 
All eligible candidates will be called for Trial. Only such candidates who are found FIT by the Trial Committee will be called for Interview. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.

Jaipur Metro Rail Exam Pattern

For all the Posts Maximum Marks: 100
Minimum pass marks shall be 40 % for all candidates other than SC/ST Category candidates and 35 % for SC/ST Category candidates. Psychometric Test and Medical Fitness Tests are Qualifying Tests. There will be no minimum pass marks for the interview
Psychometric Test (Qualifying Test): The Psychometric Test will measure specific abilities related to the job, such as reaction time, form perception, vigilance, speed anticipation and some selected attributes of personality.
Medical Fitness Test (Qualifying Test): All candidates called for interview and/or placed on the final merit list or panel of wait listed candidates shall have to undergo and pass medical fitness test as prescribed by JMRC.
Interview – 10 marks: The focus of interview will be on personality traits, including communication skills, of the candidates. There will be no minimum pass marks for the interview, but failure to appear in interview will disqualify the candidate. 
A) JMRC Pattern for Station Controller/ Train Operator: Written Test, Psychometric Test, Interview, Medical Fitness Test
1. Written Test – 90 marks- 135 minutes-120 questions
The questions shall be multiple choice objective type, with 0.75 marks being awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks being deducted for each wrong answer.
Question paper consists of:
i. General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science – 45 questions
ii. Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Ability and Reasoning – 45 questions
iii. Computer Awareness – 10 questions
iv. English Comprehension – 10 questions
v. Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions
2. Psychometric Test (Qualifying Test)
3. Interview – 10 marks
4. Medical Fitness Test (Qualifying Test)
B) Jaipur Metro Rail Exam Pattern for Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics) : Written Test, Medical Fitness Test
1. Written Test – 100 marks- 135 minutes- 100 questions.
The questions shall be multiple choice objective type, with 1 mark being awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks being deducted for each wrong answer.
Question paper consists of:
i. Domain/Discipline related – 50 questions
ii. General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science – 20 questions
iii. Computer Awareness – 10 questions
iv. English Comprehension – 10 questions
v. Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions
2. Medical Fitness Test (Qualifying Test)
C) Exam Pattern for JMRC Customer Relations Assistant
1. Written Test – 90 marks- 135 minutes- 120 questions
 The questions shall be multiple choice objective type, with 0.75 marks being awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks being deducted for each wrong answer.
Written Exam Paper consists of:
i. General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science  – 60 questions
ii. Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Ability and Reasoning – 30 questions
iii. Computer Awareness – 10 questions
iv. English Comprehension – 10 questions
v. Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions
2. Interview10 marks
3. Medical Fitness Test (Qualifying Test)
D) Recruitment Process for Maintainer (Fitter, (Electrician, Electronics, Refrigeration & AC)
1. Written Test – 100 marks- 135 minutes- 100 questions.
The questions shall be multiple choice objective type, with 1 mark being awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks being deducted for each wrong answer.
Written test paper consists of:
i. Trade related (including pictorial/ problem-solving questions covering the practical aspect of ITI training) – 65 questions
ii. General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science  – 20 questions
iii. Computer Awareness – 5 questions
iv. English Comprehension – 5 questions
v. Hindi Comprehension – 5 questions

Railway Recruitment Cell, Jaipur Declared Physical Efficiency Test Results for the Recruitment of Group D Posts. The written examination for the posts was 6 May 2012, 13 May 2012, 27 May 2012, 03 June 2012, 10 June 2012 and 24 June 2012. The Physical Efficiency Test of the candidates was conducted from 9 October 2012 to 19 October 2012.
