Western Railway (WR) invites applications from eligible Sportsperson agianst Sports Quota for the year 2012-13. The details regarding the recruitment are as follows:-
Employment Notice No. 1/2012 (Sports)
I. Group 'C' Recruitment against Sports Quota Details:
Name of the post: Sportsperson.
No. of Posts with Pay Scale: 5 posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs. 2400/2800 and 16 posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade pay of Rs. 1900/2000.
Educational Qualifications: Minimum Graduation required.
II. Erstwhile Group 'D' Recruitment Details:
Name of the post: Sportsperson
No. of Posts with Pay Scale: 43 posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-.
Educational Qualification: The candidates need to be a Graduate from a recognized University.
Age Limit: The age limit for both group is Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 1st of July, 2012.
Last date for receipt of application: The last date for receipt of application is 30th July, 2012.
