Date of RRB Technicians Written Exam: 16.12.2012

RRB Technicians 2012 Selection Process: Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of written examination. Short-listed candidates will be called for verification of original documents according to merit, availability of vacancies and reservation rules.

RRB Technician 2012 written exam Question paper pattern & Syllabus
The standard of questions for the RRB Technician 2012 written examinations will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed for the posts.

Duration of the RRB Technician 2012 examination will be 90 minutes with approximately 100 questions.
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choice and are likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning and Technical Ability.

The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and local languages.

Note: There shall be negative marking in written examination and marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @1/3 of the marks allotted for each question.

RRB BILASPUR 2nd STAGE WRITTEN EXAMINATION RESULTS FOR THE POST OF SR.CLERK CUM TYPIST OF CENTRALIZED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. 02/2010

On the basis of 2nd stage written examination held on 22.01.2012 for the above mentioned post, 230 (Two Hundred Thirty) candidates as listed in Annexure-‘A’ against normal vacancy and 65 (Sixty Five) candidates as listed in Annexure-‘B’ against General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) have been provisionally shortlisted for TYPING TEST. The date, time and venue of the TYPING TEST is indicated in Annexure-‘A’ (Normal Vacancy) & Annexure-‘B’ (GDCE quota) respectively. The Roll Numbers of 2nd = Stage written examination listed in the Annexure-‘A’ & ‘B’ are in ascending order and not in the order of merit.

Calling of candidates for Typing Test is subject to the following conditions/instructions. Candidates are advised to read all the instructions/conditions thoroughly.

1. It should be noted by the candidates that merely calling for the Typing Test does not in any way, entitle them for an empanelment/appointment in Railways for the above post.
2. The Typing Test will be held on TYPE WRITING MACHINE as per the schedule and time mentioned in ‘Annexure A’ and ‘Annexure B’ at North West Institute (Old CCM Office Building), Near SECRSA Stadium, Railway Station Road, Bilaspur Pin: 495004 (C.G.)
3. Candidate has to bring their own Typewriting Machine for typing test.
4. Call letters indicating exact Date, Time & Venue etc for the TYPING TEST are being sent to all these shortlisted candidates individually through post at their addresses, along with necessary instructions for typing test, to be read thoroughly by the candidates. RRB, Bilaspur will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery. In case any shortlisted candidate does not receive call letter, he should report personally to RRB office at Bilaspur on the date fixed for his Typing test, along with necessary documents, such as call letters of 1st & 2nd stage written exam etc. for collecting duplicate call letter to appear in the typing test on the same day.

6. All care has been taken in preparation of result and compiling the list; however Railway Recruitment Board, Bilaspur, reserve the right to rectify any inadvertent error/typographical mistake/omission, if any at any stage.

RRC Group D posts examination will held from 6 May, 2012

The Railway Board has announced the date of Group – D recruitment examination, which will be conducted zonal level is schedule to be held from May 6th to  June 24, 2012.

The Railway Board has decided that same date the examination will be held at the zonal level, based on which the candidates name will be called in alphabetically order.  More than 6 million candidates have applied for Group D posts.
